Frustrating

Post  gem on Thu Jul 03, 2008 8:49 pm

A bit fed up today. Daisys been having green poo's off and on for the past week. I've been trying to keep her on the same boob to get more hindmilk, but I've always had trouble with her coming on and off the breast. She gets frustrated when my milk slows so I normally try to swop her on to the other boob, but I can't do that if I want to keep her on the same boob so she gets the hindmilk!!!!
Finding it really frustrating, as is Daisy!

Corey much prefers the fast flow of the foremilk too - gets fractious when the flow slows Rolling Eyes

I dont have the problem of green pooo - and his weight gain is fab, so im not too worried.

Is she snuffly at all? or drooling a lot? both can cause green poo.

Yes, she has been drooling alot!! Is that the problem? She's been doing loooooooads of poo's too, normally she goes the most twice a day but the past week its been about 6 times a day.
Her weight has been:
27th May 9.08lb
10th June 10.11lb
2nd July 11.55lb
She's pretty much stayed on the 25th centile since birth, and thats on the breast chart. (managed to get one yesterday!)
Why does drooling cause green poo?
